We believe that the green energy transition nowadays, is passing thought the storage intersection. The increasing penetration of the renewable sources in the daily load profiles of the electrical systems, in conjunction with the fuzziness of their production are setting challenges to the grid operators. The electrical networks are operating under a very fragile balance between the production and the consumption, so the unpredicted nature of the weather conditions and the respective production of the renewable sources could jeopardize the overall stability of the system. Since uninterruptible power supply is the most critical commodity that the grid operators should secure, the necessity of harvesting the renewable sources in a more predictable way is our No.1 priority.
We are investigating various storage technologies, not only the well-known so far (chemical batteries, hydro pump stations, H2 etc.), but also innovative solutions to surpass the “storage problem” and secure extra time for further research, since we believe that the future energy storage solutions, have not been developed yet. We are facing a turn around from the philosophy of “we consume when we want” to the philosophy of “we consume when we have”.
Cyclic economy, sustainability and decentralized production, are driving all our actions and decisions, and we are focusing in collaborating with people, companies and governments who are sharing the same ideas and concerns with our in-house team to accelerate and smooth the cost of the energy transition.
